FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the 25-Year Rule?

Vehicles manufactured 25 years or more before the date of import are exempt from DOT and EPA compliance requirements, making them legal to import and register in most US states.

Which states allow Kei Truck registration?

States with favorable regulations include Texas, Indiana, Idaho, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Massachusetts. Some states like Florida have speed restrictions, while others like California and New York have significant barriers.

What's included in the base price?

The base price includes the vehicle, basic mechanical service, standard paint, and export preparation. Shipping, import duties (25%), and US-side costs are additional.

How long does the entire process take?

From order to delivery, expect 8-14 weeks depending on vehicle availability, customization complexity, and shipping schedules.

What about parts and maintenance?

We include a starter kit of essential consumables. Our network can source most parts from Japan, and many components are interchangeable with other Honda models.
